Classic 70's Toyota

Toyota Starlet Kp-60

This was the first car to ever enter the Nightmare Autos garage. It was in terrible shape when it was first bought and needed a lot of love. A year and plenty of effort later, the car became one of the best experiences I have ever had driving something on four wheels. It was nimble, peppy, and while it did not have a lot of power, it gave me waves of joy every time the engine roared to life!

Toyota Corolla Ke-20 (I)

The Corolla was everything the Starlet was not. Where the Starlet was a slammed rust bucket that was far from something I would take my family on a trip in, the Corolla was a refined machine. It was the perfect balance between an enthusiast car and something I could confidently use as my daily driver. But where the Starlet was weak in the bodywork department, the Corolla lacked engine health. It was undoubtedly a beautiful show car, though!

Toyota Corolla Ke-20 (II)

The Corolla II. This is still in progress, but it will have the best of both worlds when it is done. With spotless bodywork and a newly built engine, this car will easily overcome the shortcomings of the Corolla I and Starlet; at least, that’s what I hope right now! This is the biggest project I have ever done in my life, starting from a mere shell! You can follow the journey of building this car from scratch on the YouTube Channel!

Datsun 120Y B310

The Datsun 120y is a whole vibe in itself. This car has always been a gem, despite the countless instances of having us scratching our heads over why it won’t start. The car is way more than metal on two wheels; it embodies the trait that led to its purchase: rebellion. Time and time again, the car proves that it is not bound to the limits people confine these classics to. It keeps pushing forward and keeps living. So it was time to give it the glow-up it deserved. It’ll be back on the roads soon, better than ever.
